At RumFest the team will be sampling Plantation 3 Stars (which incidentally was featured recently as it’s soon to be stocked in Marks & Spencer’s), Trinidad Original Dark and Barbados Grande Reserve 5 Year Old.
The Golden Tot’s will be sampled in a private rum shack environment within RumFest, with rummy options being the brand new Single Barrel Jamaica 98 Tokaji finish (RRP around £85) and a flight of 3 Single Vintage / Single Cask from their extensive range. The sampling will either be conducted by Paul McFadyen, the UK’s Plantation Rum Expert, or by Alexandre Gabriel – the creator of the rums. Alexandre will be at RumFest on the Sunday only and has a seminar scheduled (Room 2 / 16.30) where the famous Plantation Pineapple rum will be sampled, along with the Jamaica 98 Tokaji and some of the single cask rums that have been produced exclusively for Gerry's Wines and Spirts and The Rum Kitchen. Too good to miss right?
We also understand Alexandre Gabriel will be signing the new Single Cask Plantation Rum that Gerry's Wines and Spirits have commissioned (i.e. that's unique to them). Keep an eye on Gerry's in the social media for confirmation of times etc. @gerryswinessoho + www.facebook.com/GerrysWinesSpirits
