When: 19th July, 7.30-9.00pm (BST)
It’s very eye for my eye to be caught by something new or hard to find, but one thing I’m completely guilty of is not checking back with old favourites – our latest Twitter Tasting aims to remedy that. I look back with fondness on some of the Goslings Rum Masterclasses we enjoyed and chatting with Malcolm Gosling the 7th generation of rummy Bermudian folks. We’ll be sampling the relatively new Goslings Gold Seal
, Goslings Rum Black
Seal and Goslings Family Reserve Rum
. We’ve also got something else – but I’ll keep that to myself for now.
We are blessed to have Malcom Gosling join us online – Malcolm is always good for a tale or two and as well as guiding us through the range, he’ll be telling us what it’s like to be a part of a family business that is over two hundred years old. This is the perfect opportunity to ask him about Goslings history, the rum business, Dark 'N Stormy cocktails and Bermuda shorts! Follow Gosling’s Rum on Twitter here: @TheBlackSeal
Goslings Rum is looked after by Love Drinks here in the UK and we’ll also be chatting with Alexandra Byrne, the Brand Marketing Manager who has Goslings Rum in her portfolio. You can follow Love Drinks on Twitter here: @Love_Drinks
Of course it wouldn’t be half as much fun if we didn’t have you join us – we’ve a number of sample sets that we can send out and so if you’ve a mind to get involved then read on.
Details… 19th July 2016 from 7.30pm BST we’ll be online and you can follow the conversation using the hashtag #GoslingsTT. We’d love for you to join us and have set aside a number of tasting sets accordingly, so if you’re interested – please drop us a message via email (thefloatingrumshack [at] gmail [dot] com) or any of our social media channels. Deadline for getting involved is the 12th July. I think it goes without saying that following both our social media channels and Goslings is going to significantly improve your chances of being included. There is always more demand than there are sets and so all those that get in contact will be placed in a draw. Good luck!
NOTE: To qualify for a tasting set, you must be UK resident, of legal alcohol drinking age and an active Twitter user.
