November 30th is the 50th Anniversary of Barbados Independence and you might have recently read on TheFloatingRumShack.com that Mount Gay have released a Limited Edition, Cask Strength version of their award-winning XO rum to mark the occasion... You might also have read about the new Origin Series release that features rums from their Copper Pot and Column stills… And what about their last release: Black Barrel, also featured here on TFRS.

Thanks to the generosity of Miguel Smith, International Brand Ambassador for Mount Gay Rum and his team, we’ve a larger number than normal of sample sets available for those who would like to join us online on the 6th December as we run through each of the four rums - three of which are pretty hard to lay hands on – and all of which are delicious and have a story to tell. We’ll be celebrating Barbados’s Independence and enjoying a pre-Christmas tot all at the same time – we just can’t wait we hope you’ll join us.
