Depending on which story you prefer, you may or may not be celebrating the birth of the piña colada on Monday 16th August. As with many classic cocktails, the exact date of creation is a little unsure. Classics tend to have only a few, relatively simple ingredients and therefore the probability that they will have been previously used together by many different people is extremely high!
