Mount Gay Rum Is The Toast Of Henley Royal Regatta
It would appear that we now have two reasons to be annoyed that we couldn’t get down to the Henley Royal Regatta. Not only were Mahiki there, as we reported previously - but it seems Mount Gay were there as well!
The promotional team from Mount Gay Rum was at the Regatta, where apparently they sampled 10,000 consumers during the five-day event. Henley Royal Regatta attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from all around the world every year.
Mount Gay Rum’s new ‘Rum Booth’ was on the banks of the River Thames offering consumers an immersive experience into the world’s oldest rum. Visitors to the booth also had the chance to try Mount Gay Rum’s premium aged rums or sample one of a selection of summer cocktails. The brand’s Rum Booth previously debuted at London’s Taste Festival in June.
Looks like First Drinks are being true to their word when it comes to promoting their brands: if you’re a fan of rum, you’re sure to be a fan of Mount Gay – if not – keep your eyes peeled for their next appearance. We’ll aim to give you a heads up if we can.
Note to First Drinks: please tell us where you’re going to be - not just where you’ve been!
Cheers.
